Tessellated Chessboards
Two of my tessellated chessboards were accepted for the art exhibit at the 2014 Joint Math Meetings in Baltimore. I used tessellations designed by M. C. Escher, Alain Nicolas, and Jos Leys. Alain Nicolas played around with TesselManiac! and did a brilliant tessellation of my last name which, of course, I had to laser cut into wooden tiles.
